Pack Meeting: December 10, 2009

This month's theme is Works of Art and the scouts and their families helped us created works of art to give to a family in need. To keep in the spirit of the holiday season, we decided to do a pack service project and decorate a Christmas tree to give to a family without one. Our Primary President, Diana Cook, gave us a wonderful message about serving others and we listen to Christmas music and make decorations.

Thanks to all the scouts and their families who attended and helped us make ornaments and decorate our tree for a family in our stake. We had lots of fun and the finished tree look fantastic. Unfortunately I forgot my camera to take a picture of it. We will definitely have to award everyone with an honorary weaving badge for all their efforts.

Your service has definitely brought joy to a family this Christmas.

Pack Meeting Reminder

Just a reminder, Pack Meeting is this Thursday at the Cimarron church at 7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Please plan on attending we will be making decorations for a Christmas tree that we will be donating to a family that needs one and we will need lots of help.

Wolf Den Meeting: December 3, 2009

This week we worked on Achievement 12. We learned about courage and that it is not always what you do, but that you can also be courageous by walking away from dangerous people and situations. We discussed several difficult situations and what the boys could themselves or others (Achievement 12 questions).

We also worked on a Cub Scout craft and made cute reindeer out of pine cones. We played a reindeer game ourselves of crab-ball.

December 2009 Monthly Theme: Works of Art

December is a time of celebration and giving. This is a time of year when we can do good deeds and help others. We can share our works of art to brighten lives of those who may be less fortunate or not feeling well. During this time of giving and sharing, do your best to help others and continue to do so in all the months that follow.
